it"s root is such miraculus to treat Gingivitus , pyorrhoea if used as datun, and it'alkaloid reno lithiasis

take a whole plant (samoolam) make a paste and mix maruthondri thailam and apply on painful part poisonous bites. especially nerve pain. Take a samoolam, make paste mix with honey and take internally 15ml at early morning empty stomach for women's pain and many other pain related issues. (note: do not pick the plant after 5pm)

It is used in Ayurveda as an anti-inflammatory agent besides being useful in Hemorrhoids, indigestion, cough, asthma, anemia, jaundice and snake bite.
